Disney’s Newsies cast for hit musical in London in 2023

Disney’s Newsies musical has arrived in London – here’s who’s currently on the cast!

Adapted from the 1990s film of the same name, Newsies is the rousing true tale of a ragged band of teenage newspaper sellers, who dream of a better life far from the hardship of the streets.

After newspaper magnate Joseph Pulitzer hikes up the prices for his papers charged to the newsies, Jack Kelly rallies his fellow newsboys in an attempt to protest the change, falling in love with young reporter Katherine along the way.

Disney’s Newsies London cast

The current Disney’s Newsies cast is led by Michael Ahomka-Lindsay (Legally Blonde) as Jack Kelly and Bronté Barbé (What’s New, Pussycat?) as Katherine Plumber.

They’re joined by Moya Angela (Medda Larkin), Samuel Bailey (Specs), Josh Barnett (Race), Forbes Masson (Joseph Pulitzer), Jack Bromage (Tommy Boy), Alex Christian (Buttons), Arcangelo Ciulla (Ike), George Crawford (Morris Delancey), Ross Dawes (Snyder), Joshua Denyer (Mush), Ross Dorrington (Splasher), Matthew Duckett (Crutchie), Jacob Fisher (Albert), Jamie Golding (Wiesel), Damon Gould (Finch), Owen Stringer (Oscar Delancey), Barry Keenan (Nunzio), Ryan Kopel (Davey), Siôn Lloyd (Bunsen), Spencer Darlaston-Jones (Romeo), Mukeni Nel (Jo Jo), Bradley Perret (Elmer), Mark Samaras (Mike) and Matt Trevorrow (Henry).

Completing the adult cast are ensemble members Lindsay Atherton, Bobbie Chambers, Mireia Mambo and Lillie-Pearl Wildman with swings Imogen Bailey, Morgan Gregory, Kai Oxley, Rory Shafford and Lucy Young.

The child role of Les is shared by Nesim Adnan, Ben Dalton. Harry Newby and Ethan Sokontwe.

The show will is playing the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre with tickets priced from £30 The show is currently booking to July 2023.

The current standard performance schedule is Wednesday – Saturday at 7:30PM , Thursday & Saturday at 2:30PM and Sunday at 1PM & 5:30PM.
