New musical Frankie Goes to Bollywood is hitting the road for a UK tour in 2024, including a run in London!

Amidst the heroes and the villains, the costumes and the spectacle, get ready for this tale of being British in Bollywood.

Frankie never wanted to be a star, she just wanted a family – and after a chance encounter with an up-and-coming director, she finds herself transported to Bollywood.

As she climbs the sparkling staircase of stardom, Frankie has to confront what she is willing to do for fame and fortune. Can she stay in the Bollywood family and still be true to herself?

The Rifco Theatre Company present the new musical which features a concept and book by Pravesh Kumar MBE and a score from Niraj Chag and Tasha Taylor Johnson.

The production team features Pravesh Kumar as director, Ameet Chana as associate director, and Josh Sood overseeing musical supervision and serving as musical director. Andy Kumar contributes as both movement director and costume designer, with Nicola Mac as associate choreographer. Carl Miller is involved as the dramaturg, while Rebecca Brower brings her vision as the set designer. Lighting is managed by Phillip Gladwell, and Chris Murray is responsible for sound design. Gurkiran Kaur serves as dialect coach. Original workshop arrangements are by Charlie Ingles. Sophia Lewis is involved for Debbie O’Brien Casting, Willow Burrows as assistant designer, and Billy Knapper handles scenic graphics.
