The Mrs. Doubtfire musical is on its way to London’s West End for 2023 – here’s all you need to know.

Based on the iconic film of the same name starring the late Robin Williams, Mrs. Doubtfire tells the story of an out-of-work actor who creates the ​alter ego of a Scottish nanny to be closer to his children following divorce.

The show will open in London at the Shaftesbury Theatre on 12 May 2023 and is currently booking through until 13 January 2024.

It has a running time of 2 hours 30 minutes including a 20 minute interval.

The standard performance schedule is Monday – Saturday at 7:30PM with 2:30PM matinees on Thursday and Saturday.

Meet the cast!

The current West End company stars Gabriel Vick in the title role – aka Daniel Hillard – with Laura Tebbutt as Miranda Hillard, Carla Dixon-Hernandez as Lydia Hillard, Cameron Blakely as Frank Hillard, Marcus Collins as Andre, Samuel Edwards as Stuart Dunmire, Kelly Agbowu as Wanda Sellner and Ian Talbot as Mr Jolly.

Completing the adult cast are Micha Richardson, Lisa Mathieson, Joshua Dever, Maria Garrett, Kiera Haynes, Adam Lyons, Corey Mitchell, Ellie Mitchell, Matt Overfield, Tom Scanlon, Vicki Lee Taylor and Samuel Wilson-Freeman with swings Nicole Carlisle, Rebecca Donnelly, Joseph Dockree, Amy Everett, Christopher Parkinson and Paulo Teixeira. Rhys Owen is the standby Daniel Hillard.

A rotating cast of child actors will share the younger roles of Christopher Hillard and Natalie Hillard.
