Noises Off to run in the West End in 2023 with Felicity Kendal, Tracy-Ann Oberman and Matthew Kelly

The 40th anniversary production of Noises Off is open in the West End in 2023.

Michael Frayn’s side-splitting backstage comedy is currently touring the UK.

The show will open in London at the Phoenix Theatre for a strictly limited run from 19 January to 11 March 2023 with tickets on sale now here.

The show will star Felicity Kendal (The Good Life, Relatively Speaking and Hay Fever) as Dotty Otley, Tracy-Ann Oberman (EastEnders, Friday Night Dinner and Edmond) as Belinda Blair and Matthew Kelly (The DresserWaiting For Godot) as Selsdon Mowbray.

Joining them are Alexander Hanson as Lloyd Dallas, Joseph Millson as Garry Lejeune, Sasha Frost as Brooke Ashton, Pepter Lunkuse as Poppy Norton Taylor and Jonathan Coy as Fredrick Fellows.

Lindsay Posner directs having previously helmed a production at London’s Old Vic. Completing the creative team are Simon Higlett (Designer), Paul Pyant (Lighting Designer), Greg Clarke (Sound Designer), Will Stuart (Composer), Ruth Cooper-Brown (Movement and Fight Director), George Jibson (Associate Director), Ginny Schiller (Casting Director).

Noises Off first opened in London in 1982 before becoming a worldwide hit with numerous productions and revivals. A feature film of Noises Off was made in 1992, starring Michael Caine, Carol Burnett, Christopher Reeve and John Ritter.
