Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre reveals full cast for Fiddler on the Roof

Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre has announced the full cast and creative team for their upcoming production of Fiddler on the Roof.

With a book by Joseph Stein, music by Jerry Bock, and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, the show will run from 27 July to 21 September 2024.

The production is directed by Jordan Fein, who brings a stellar cast to the stage.

Adam Dannheisser will star as Tevye, with Lara Pulver as Golde. They will be joined by Liv Andrusier as Tzeitel, Natasha Jules Bernard as Mirila, and Greg Bernstein as Mendel. Noa Bodner takes on the role of Rifka, Ralph Bogard as Avram, and Lawrence Boothman as Nacham. The cast also includes Hannah Bristow (Chava), Georgia Bruce (Hodel), Georgia Dixon (Bielke), Jonathan Dryden Taylor (Constable), David Freedman (Rabbi), Helen Goldwyn (Shandel), Dickon Gough (Mordcha & Inkeeper), Thomas-Lee Kidd (Sasha), Beverley Klein (Yente), Daniel Krikler (Perchik), Darya Topol Margalith (Schprintze), Gregor Milne (Fyedka), Raphael Papo (The Fiddler), Alex Pinder (Russian #2), Dylan Saffer (Onstage swing), Michael S. Siegel (Lazar Wolf), Alex Tranter (Russian #1), and Dan Wolff (Motel).

The creative team boasts a wealth of talent, with Mark Aspinall as Musical Supervisor, Stuart Burt as Casting Director, and Laura Braid as Associate Choreographer. Choreography is led by Julia Cheng, with Yarit Dor handling Fight and Intimacy Direction.

Emma Farnell Watson is the Assistant Choreographer, while James Hassett serves as Season Associate Sound Designer.

The team is rounded out by Hannah Hauer-King (Associate Director), Nina van Houten (Wigs, Hair, and Make-Up Designer), Nick Lidster for Autograph (Sound Designer), Aideen Malone (Lighting Designer), Tom Scutt (Designer), Peter Noden (Casting Associate), Rabbi Rose Prevezer (Jewish Culture, Religion, and History Consultant), Caitlin Stegemoller (Voice & Text Director), Dan Turek (Musical Director), and Livi van Warmelo (Associate Musical Director). The story, based on Sholem Aleichem’s tales by special permission of Arnold Perl, follows Tevye, a Jewish milkman in 1905 Anatevka, as he navigates the challenges posed by his five daughters and a changing world. Featuring beloved songs like If I Were A Rich Man, Tradition, Matchmaker, and Sunrise, Sunset, this production is set to be a celebration of love and life.

The 2024 Open Air Theatre season also includes Twelfth Night, The Enormous Crocodile and The Secret Garden.
