BAFTA Award winner Dominic West, renowned for his roles in The Wire and The Crown, takes the lead in Arthur Miller’s profound classic A View From The Bridge, exploring an individual’s role within a tight-knit Italian-American community in 1950s New York.
Eddie Carbone embodies simplicity and integrity. He considers it an honour to host his wife’s Italian cousins in America, the land of opportunity. However, when his niece Catherine develops a romantic interest in one of the cousins, Eddie’s deep-seated jealousy surfaces, revealing his own hidden desires for her. As emotions intensify, they all confront the harsh reality that certain liberties come with a devastating cost.
Dominic West, a celebrated and multifaceted actor in the UK, has a distinguished thirty-year career span. His memorable performances range from playing Jimmy McNulty in The Wire to depicting Charles, Prince of Wales in The Crown. Beginning his film career alongside Sir Ian McKellen in Richard III, West has since featured in a variety of films, including the Oscar-winning Chicago, the historical Downton Abbey: A New Era, and voicing in Disney Pixar’s Finding Dory. He also portrayed the real-life figure Jonathan Blake in the acclaimed film Pride.
