Just For One Day tickets are on sale now for the show in London.
Inspired by the iconic Live Aid concerts of 1985, Just For One Day will begin performances at The Old Vic on 26 January 2024 with tickets on sale now here.
13 July, 1985. As the sun rose over London, Wembley Stadium was about to witness the greatest live event of all time take place.
It was during a decade of vibrant neon and roaring noise when this moment brought the world to a stand-still, and with the help of two satellites, united 1.5 billion people – now, they tell their story about ‘the day rock ‘n’ roll changed the world’.
The new musical has been written by John O’Farrell (Mrs Doubtfire, Something Rotten!) and will be directed by Luke Sheppard (& Juliet, The Little Big Things).
On the cast are Julie Atherton, Ashley Campbell, Jackie Clune, Craige Els, James Hameed, Naomi Katiyo, Hope Kenna, Freddie Love, Emily Ooi and Rhys Wilkinson.
Just For One Day features musical supervision, arrangements & orchestrations by Matthew Brind, choreography by Ebony Molina, set design by Soutra Gilmour, costume design by Fay Fullerton, lighting design by Howard Hudson, sound design by Gareth Owen, video & animation by Andrzej Goulding and casting by Stuart Burt CDG.
The musical is being made with permission from The Band Aid Charitable Trust with 10% from the sale of all tickets will be donated to the cause.
Just For One Day will play at London’s The Old Vic from 26 January 2024 currently booking through to 30 March 2024.
