Heathers The Musical returns to London with a limited six week season in the West End this summer.
Based on the cult 1980s film of the same name, Heathers The Musical comes to @sohoplace from 22 May – 4 July 2024.
Performances will be Monday – Friday at 7:30PM, Saturday at 5PM and 8:30PM and Sunday at 2:30PM and 7:30PM.
Greetings and salutations! Welcome to Westerberg High, where popularity is a matter of life and death, and Veronica Sawyer is just another of the nobodies dreaming of a better day.
But when she’s unexpectedly taken under the wings of the three beautiful and impossibly cruel Heathers, her dreams of popularity finally start to come true.
That is until JD, the mysterious teen rebel, turns up and teaches her that it might kill to be a nobody, but it’s murder being a somebody.
Following its West End run the show will tour the UK.
Heathers the Musical is based on the 1989 film of the same name which starred Winona Ryder and Christian Slater.
The award-winning writers Laurence O’Keefe and Kevin Murphy’s musical adaptation has seen great success in Los Angeles and New York. Its European premiere turned out to be the highest grossing show at The Other Palace, with more than 20,000 tickets sold during the initial run and a sell-out before the opening gala performance.
The show enjoyed similar success at the Theatre Royal Haymarket and later set a record at The Other Palace as the longest running show in the venue’s history.
