After several acclaimed runs in the United States, Here You Come Again was initially penned by Bruce Vilanch, a two-time Emmy award winner in comedy and songwriting, alongside Gabriel Barre (who also directs) and Tricia Paoluccio (who portrays Dolly). The show has been adapted for British audiences by renowned playwright Jonathan Harvey, known for his work on Gimme, Gimme, Gimme and Coronation Street.
