A brand new revival of the hit Broadway and West End musical Kinky Boots comes to Storyhouse Chester this year!
Based on the film of the same name, Kinky Boots features a Tony-Award nominated book by Harvey Fierstein and Tony and Grammy award-winning songs by Cyndi Lauper.
Following his father’s sudden passing, Charlie Price inherits the family business – a struggling shoe factory. After a meeting with drag queen Lola, Price starts embracing a more flamboyant business model.
Together, they embark on a journey that defies convention, discovering the true power of self-expression and the strength that comes from embracing one’s authentic self.
