The 2023 Panto at Newcastle Theatre Royal has been confirmed with Joe McElderry starring.
Produced by Crossroads Pantomimes, this festive season’s show will be Pinocchio with tickets available to buy now here.
Based on the character created by Italian writer Carlo Collodi, Pinocchio tells the story of a wooden puppet who dreams to becoming a ‘real boy’.

As always a brilliant cast will be bringing the fairytale to life this festive season.
Celebrating 18 years at the Theatre Royal, Danny Adams stars as Pinocchio with Clive Webb as toymaker Geppetto, Newcastle’s own Joe McElderry as Jiminy Cricket and Chris Hayward returning to the side of good as Dame Rita.

It’s no ‘acciduuunt’ the Theatre Royal panto is ‘the quickest selling pantomime in the UK’. With brand-new sets and costumes we’d be lying if we said this isn’t going to be our best panto yet!
Pinocchio will run at Newcastle Theatre Royal from 28 November 2023 until 14 January 2024.
