Drawing inspiration from the beloved film, Sister Act is a dazzling celebration of friendship, sisterhood, and the transformative power of music. The story humorously unfolds the journey of a disco diva whose life takes an unexpected twist after she becomes a witness to a murder.

Seeking safety, she finds herself hidden in the least likely place – a convent! Disguised as a nun and under the watchful eye of the Mother Superior, Deloris helps her sister nuns discover their vocal talents while rediscovering her own.

The production of Sister Act boasts direction by Bill Buckhurst, choreography by Alistair David, and set and costume design by Morgan Large. With Neil MacDonald as the musical director, the show’s ambiance is further enhanced by Tim Mitchell’s lighting design, Tom Marshall’s sound design, and musical supervision by Stephen Brooker. The cast was assembled by the skilled casting director, Stuart Burt.

Sister Act features an original score by the acclaimed Alan Menken, a Tony and 8-time Oscar winner known for his work on Disney’s Aladdin and Enchanted. The lyrics are penned by Glenn Slater, with the book written by Bill and Cheri Steinkellner, and additional material by Douglas Carter Beane. The production team includes Jamie Wilson, Kevin McCollum, Gavin Kalin, Front Row Productions, Evolution Productions, Tulchin Bartner Productions, and Curve.

Alongside the West End run, a Sister Act tour is also on the road.
