About Sleuth on tour
The play revolves around a young man who visits the grand home of a celebrated mystery writer. Unbeknownst to him, he becomes embroiled in a complex web of deceit and cunning gamesmanship, in a world where appearances are deceiving and every twist is unexpected.
The Sleuth UK tour is directed by Rachel Kavanaugh with design by Julie Godfrey, lighting design by Tim Oliver and sound design by Andy Graham.
Sleuth, renowned as one of the finest stage thrillers, enjoyed a remarkable 12-year run in both London and New York, earning accolades including the Tony Award for Best Play.
Its success also led to a highly acclaimed film adaptation featuring Laurence Olivier and Michael Caine. Beginning in 2024, UK audiences will have the opportunity to experience this celebrated play firsthand. The tour will kick off at the Theatre Royal Windsor on 31 January 2024, continuing through the spring.
