Back To The Future: The Musical is currently playing in London’s West End – here’s all you need to know.

Based on the iconic 1985 film of the same name, the Back to the Future musical is playing at London’s Adelphi Theatre, currently booking through to 22 October 2023.

Back to the Future follows Marty McFly who finds himself travelling back in time 30 years thanks to a time-traveling DeLorean created by Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown.

Encountering young versions of his parents he must make sure that they fall in love or he’ll cease to exist, while also attempting to return to the present and save Doc’s life.

The musical is now booking in the West End to 11 February 2024.

The cast features Ben Joyce in the role of Marty McFly while Doc Brown is portrayed by Cory English.

They are joined by Oliver Nicholas as George McFly, Amber Davies as Lorraine Baines, Jordan Benjamin as Goldie Wilson, Harry Jobson as Biff Tannen, Sophie Naglik as Jennifer Parker, Will Haswell as Dave McFly, Emma Lloyd as Linda McFly and Gary Trainor as Strickland.

Completing the cast are Amy Barker, Simeon Beckett, Sia Dauda, Tyler Davis, Glen Facey, Dylan Gordon-Jones, Adam Margilewski, Cameron McAllister, Alessia McDermott, Bryan Mottram, Laura Mullowney, Anna Murray, Jon Reynolds, Melissa Rose, Georgia Tapp, Justin Thomas, Charley Warburton, Tavio Wright and Rhodri Watkins.

On the creative team is led by director John Rando, with Tim Hatley (Set and Costume Design), Chris Bailey (Choreographer), Nick Finlow (Musical Supervisor & Vocal Arrangements), Tim Lutkin (Lighting Designer), Hugh Vanstone (Lighting Consultant), Chris Fisher (Illusions Designer), Finn Ross (Video Designer), Gareth Owen (Sound Designer), Bryan Crook (Orchestrations), Ethan Popp (Orchestrations), Jim Henson (Musical Director), David Chase (Dance Arrangements), Maurice Chan (Fight Director) and David Grindrod Associates CDG (Casting).

The adaptation has a book by Bob Gale, writer and producer of the original film with music and lyrics by Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard plus songs from the film.
