The Cher Show cast to perform on Strictly Come Dancing’s musicals special

The cast of The Cher Show will perform on Strictly Come Dancing’s musicals special next weekend.

The Cher Show is a jukebox musical that tells the story and career of singer Cher with her biggest hits, including The Shoop Shoop Song, I Got You Babe, If I Could Turn Back Time, Strong Enough and Believe.

Currently on a UK tour, the Goddess of Pop is portrayed in three different ways throughout her iconic career in the production with Millie O’Connell (Six, Be More Chill, Rent), Danielle Steers (Six, Bat Out of Hell) and Debbie Kurup (The Prince of Egypt, Rent) on the cast.

The Cher Show is directed by former Strictly judge Arlene Phillips with choreography by former Strictly professional Oti Mabuse.

The stars of The Cher Show will perform in the Strictly ballroom for its latest results show in Musicals Week on Saturday night (3 December) on BBC One and iPlayer.

There will also be a Guys and Dolls dance routine from the show’s professionals.

Plus, Strictly’s Musicals Week will open on Friday, 2 December at 8PM on BBC One with a dance extravaganza by the professionals alongside West End legends Marisha Wallace, Ivano Turco and Trevor Dion Nicholas.

The episode will seee remaining couples take to the ballroom floor with more incredible routines inspired by the world of musical theatre.
