Wuthering Heights to be released on Sky Arts this November

Wuthering Heights will be available to watch on Sky Arts this November.

The Bristol Old Vic co-production of Wise Children’s Wuthering Heights will be released on Sky Arts this Monday, 7 November at 9PM, available to watch across the UK and Ireland.

On the cast are Lucy McCormick (Cathy), Sam Archer (Lockwood/Edgar Linton), Nandi Bhebhe (The Moor), Mirabelle Gremaud (swing), TJ Holmes (Robert), Ash Hunter (Heathcliff), Craig Johnson (Mr Earnshaw/Dr Kenneth), Jordan Laviniere (John), Kandaka Moore (Zillah), Katy Owen (Isabella Linton/Linton Heathcliff), Tama Phethean (Hindley Earnshaw/Hareton Earnshaw) and Witney White (Frances Earnshaw/Young Cathy).

Music will be performed by Sid Goldsmith, Nadine Lee and Renell Shaw.

Rescued from the Liverpool docks as a child, Heathcliff is adopted by the Earnshaws and taken to live at Wuthering Heights. He finds a kindred spirit in Catherine Earnshaw and a fierce love ignites. When forced apart, a brutal chain of events is unleashed.

Emma Rice directs the piece with set and costume design by Vicki Mortimer; sound and video by Simon Baker; composition by Ian Ross; movement and choreography by Etta Murfitt and lighting design by Jai Morjaria. The show is co-produced by National Theatre, Wise Children, Bristol Old Vic and York Theatre Royal co-production.

Recorded at Bristol Old Vic in 2021, this release marks the continuation of Bristol Old Vic’s partnership with Sky Arts, which sees the UK TV premiere of two ground-breaking stage to film productions; Wonder Boy written by Ross Willis and directed by Sally Cookson (release date to be announced) and Wise Children’s Wuthering Heights.
