9 to 5 The Musical West End cast recording released

A West End cast recording of 9 to 5 The Musical has been released today.

A live recorded version of the show featuring the original London cast is now available to download and stream here.

Recorded at the Savoy Theatre, the new 9 to 5 Musical cast recording features Caroline Sheen as Violet Newstead, Natalie McQueen as Doralee Rhodes, Amber Davies as Judy Bernly, Brian Conley as Franklin Hart Jnr, Bonnie Langford as Roz Keith and Christopher Jordan-Marshall as Joe.

Caroline Sheen added: “Here it is!! So proud of our show and our amazing company. Thrilled to have this as a memento of an incredible experience.”

With a score written by country music icon Dolly Parton, 9 To 5 The Musical is based on the 1980s comedy movie of the same name, which Dolly starred in.

The Oscar, Grammy and Tony award-nominated score features some of Parton’s biggest hits, including the legendary ‘9 to 5’, as well as original songs written for the show.

The West End production announced earlier this year it would be closing on May 23, 2020 after more than 300 performances.

A new UK tour of 9 to 5 The Musical for 2020 will begin performances in Aylesbury in May.
