Annie Get Your Gun to play outdoors with Gemma Sutton and Joel Montague
Annie Get Your Gun is to play outdoors this summer.
The show will run at the grounds of Betley Court Farm in Cheshire between 20 and 25 July 2021.
Gemma Sutton and Joel Montague will lead the cast as Annie Oakley and Frank Butler respectively.
They will be joined by Leon Craig as Buffalo Bill, Karl Seth as Chief Sitting Bull, Matthew Atkins as Charlie Davenport, Emma Crossley as Dolly Tate, Charlotte O’Rourke as Winnie Tate and Jordan Cunningham as Tommy Keeler.
Completing the cast are Rob Earle, Debbie Cornock, Katy Goodwin, Charlotte Barber, Yazmin Walker, Ellie Morris Davies, Max Bainbridge, Ed Danby, Jessica Davies, Prinny Robertson, Phoebe Robinson, Eddie Thomlinson-Cliffe, Ben Mather-Dodd and Harry Grigg.
Tickets are available online here priced at £15 for children, £25 for adults and £75 for a family of four.
With music & lyrics by Irving Berlin and a book by Dorothy & Herbert Fields, Annie Get Your Gun tells the story of a young country girl who finds fame and love on Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show as a sharpshooter.
Based on a true story, the show features musical theatre classics such as ‘Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better’, ‘Moonshine Lullby’, ‘I’ve Got The Sun In The Morning’ and ‘There’s No Business Like Show Business’.
Joel Montague directs with musical direction from Andrew Corcoran. The production is based on Peter Stone’s 1999 Broadway revival version.
