Anything Goes musical cast revealed as show airs on BBC Two

Here’s who’s on the cast of the filmed version of the Anything Goes musical as it comes to BBC Two.

A new revival production of the classic musical recently played at London’s Barbican Centre where it was filmed on stage.

After a recent run in cinemas, the filmed production will be coming to TV for Christmas!

You can catch the musical on BBC Two at 6:40PM on Boxing Day (Sunday, 26 December) and watch online via BBC iPlayer.

Anything Goes musical cast

Reprising her Tony-award winning role from the 2011 Broadway production, Sutton Foster plays Reno Sweeney with Olivier Award and Tony-Award winner Robert Lindsay as Moonface Martin.

Alongside Foster and Lindsay, the cast in the filmed production features Felicity Kendal as Evangeline Harcourt and Gary Wilmot as Elisha Whitney. They’re joined by Samuel Edwards as Billy Crocker, Nicole-Lily Baisden as Hope Harcourt, Carly Mercedes Dyer as Erma and Haydn Oakley as Lord Evelyn Oakleigh.

Further casting includes Martin Callaghan as Ship’s Purser, Jon Chew as John, Clive Hayward as Ship’s Captain, Alistair So as Luke, Marc Akinfolarin as Sailor Quartet / Reverend Dobson, Simon Anthony as Sailor Quartet and Eamonn Cox as Sailor Quartet and Robbie Mcmillan as Sailor Quartet.

Making up the ensemble are Georgie Ashford, Vivien Carter, Natalie Chua, Jordan Crouch, Maddie Harper, Michael Lin, Tom Partridge and Jack Wilcox while playing the Angels are Frances Dee, Charlene Ford, Selina Hamilton and Alexandra Wright.

Swings are George Beet, Gabrielle Cocca, Emily Ormiston and Liam Wrate.

Kathleen Marshall directs the revival joined on the creative team by set designer Derek McLane, lighting designer Neil Austin, sound designer Simon Baker and music supervisor Stephen Ridley.

Meanwhile the show will return for a new tour in 2022 visiting Bristol, Liverpool, Edinburgh and Canterbury before returning to London in July.

Casting for the 2022 tour and London run are to be announced.
