Cabaret West End cast confirmed with Eddie Redmayne and Jessie Buckley
Full casting has been confirmed for the upcoming run of Cabaret in the West End.
Featuring music and lyrics by John Kander and Fred Ebb with a book by Joe Masteroff, Cabaret has proved a hit ever since its premieres on Broadway and in London’s West End in the 1960s.
The new production will run in the round from November at the Kit Kat Club at London’s Playhouse Theatre.

Eddie Redmayne will play the Emcee, a role he previously played at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2001, while Jessie Buckley will play Sally Bowles.
Joining them are Omari Douglas as Cliff Bradshaw, Liza Sadovy as Fraulein Schneider, Elliot Levey as Herr Schultz, Stewart Clarke as Ernst Ludwig and Anna-Jane Casey as Fraulein Kost.
Completing the company are Josh Andrews, Emily Benjamin, Sally Frith, Matthew Gent, Emma Louise Jones, Ela Lisondra, Theo Maddix, Chris O’Mara, Daniel Perry, Andre Refig, Christopher Tendai, Bethany Terry, Lillie-Pearl Wildman and Sophie Maria Wojna.
They will be joined by a Prologue Company of nine actors, dancers and musicians welcoming visitors to the world of the club.
The Prologue Company consists of Gabriela Bendetti, Rachel Benson, Laura Braid, Julian Capolei, Hollie Cassar, Celine Fortenbacher-Popławska, Samantha Ho, Andrew Linnie and Sally Swanson with an original score composed by Angus MacRae.
The production will be directed by Rebecca Frecknall with design by Tom Scutt, choreography by Julia Cheng, musical supervision and direction by Jennifer Whyte, lighting design by Isabella Byrd, sound design by Nick Lidster, casting director Stuart Burt and associate director Jordan Fein.
Set in the 1930s Berlin, the musical tells the story of the seedy Kit Kat Klub and the relationship between American writer Cliff Bradshaw and English cabaret performer Sally Bowles.
