Cast announced for Rocky Horror Show UK Tour 2024/2025

Casting has been announced for the latest UK tour of Richard O’Brien’s legendary rock ‘n’ roll musical, the Rocky Horror Show.

The show will feature singing superstar Jason Donovan as Frank N Furter at select dates.

Stephen Webb will reprise his acclaimed role as Frank N Furter at select performances and venues in 2024. Meanwhile, Adam Strong, known for We Will Rock You and Disney’s Aladdin, will make his Rocky debut as Frank starting February 2025.

The rest of the cast includes Connor Carson as Brad, Lauren Chia as Janet, Job Greuter as Riff Raff, and Natasha Hoeberigs as Magenta/Usherette. Jayme-Lee Zanoncelli takes on the role of Columbia, Morgan Jackson is Rocky, and Edward Bullingham plays Eddie/Dr Scott.

The Phantoms are played by Ryan Carter-Wilson, Arthur Janes, Hollie Nelson, and Erica Wild, with Alex Hetherington and Stacey Monahan as the on-stage swing and swing/dance captain, respectively. The Narrator’s casting will be announced soon.

This thrilling tour also includes a special engagement at London’s Dominion Theatre from 6 September to 20 September 2024, followed by a festive season at the Liverpool Playhouse from 3 December to 4 January 2025.

Producer Howard Panter expressed his excitement, said: “I’m delighted to announce that we are extending the 2024/2025 tour for a further three months in the spring next year. We’ve assembled a first-class cast to deliver a guaranteed party at every performance, as the show continues to thrill audiences across the UK.”

The Rocky Horror Show, directed by Christopher Luscombe, continues to captivate audiences around the globe with its outrageous characters and infectious energy. It features iconic musical numbers such as “Sweet Transvestite,” “Science Fiction/Double Feature,” “Dammit Janet,” and the timeless “Time Warp.”

The show follows Brad and his fiancée Janet, two squeaky clean college kids whose car breaks down outside Dr Frank’n’Furter’s house. Their adventure is filled with fun, frolics, and unforgettable songs, making the Rocky Horror Show a guaranteed party. The show famously blends science-fiction, horror, comedy, and music, encouraging audience participation and outrageous fancy dress.

Since its debut in 1973, the Rocky Horror Show has become the longest continuous run of a contemporary musical, seen by over 30 million people worldwide. It was transformed into the cult film “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” in 1975, which remains the longest-running theatrical release in cinema history.
