Collabro, Joe McElderry, Sophie Evans to star in Love at the Musicals at Portsmouth’s Kings Theatre

A trio of musical theatre superstars are set for a concert at Portsmouth’s Kings Theatre.

Love at the Musicals will feature Collabro (winners of Britain’s Got Talent), Joe McElderry (winner of ITV’s X Factor) and Sophie Evans (star of Wicked, The Wizard of Oz).

The one-off concert, presented by Lambert Jackson Productions, is described as “a celebration of some of the greatest musical theatre love songs of all-time.”

Paying homage to some of the most iconic numbers from the stage and screen, Love at the Musicals will take place at the Kings Theatre on Saturday May 23.

Backed by a live orchestra, the exclusive event will feature songs from ‘The Greatest Showman’, ‘Les Misérables’, ‘Phantom of the Opera’, ‘West Side Story’ and more.

Jamie Lambert, show producer and Collabro member said: “Lambert Jackson are thrilled to be bringing this incredible line-up to such a beautiful theatre.

“The show has been such a success already we felt we had to take it to new audiences, so we are really looking forward to performing to the people of Portsmouth!”

Love at the Musicals takes place at Kings Theatre, Portsmouth on Saturday May 23 2020, 7:30PM.
