Come Alive cast

COME ALIVE! has unveiled its all-star cast for its upcoming The Greatest Showman inspired Circus Spectacular.

This much-anticipated show is set to dazzle audiences at The Empress Museum in London’s Earls Court, with performances kicking off on 23rd September 2024.

Leading the charge is West End favourite Simon Bailey, known for his standout performances in Moulin Rouge!, Heathers, and Jersey Boys. He steps into the shoes of a modern-day Showman.

Joining Simon is Aaliya Mai, a fresh graduate from the London School of Musical Theatre, who will be making her professional debut as Max. Max is a shy young roustabout, raised by the circus, with a gang of misfit friends by her side, and a destiny yet to be discovered.

On the vocal front, the show has pulled together a powerhouse lineup. Jason Brock of Thriller Live, The Voice 2012 contestant Jaz Ellington, and Eurovision Song Contest 2018 singer, will be gracing the stage. They’re joined by Charlotte-Hannah Jones from Hairspray, Whitney Martins of Starlight Express, and Fallon Mondlane, who’s wowed audiences in What’s New Pussycat? and The Lion King.

The Showman’s troupe of dancers features Maisie Axton making her debut, and seasoned performers like Genie Gledhill, Mia Jayne, and Konnie Karachaliou. They’re joined by Ebby Sama from Moulin Rouge! and The Lion King UK tour, Emma-Louise Stansall, who has danced with Kylie Minogue and Hugh Jackman, and Ross Wilkins, known for his work with Justin Bieber and Chase & Status.

The circus side of the show brings together some of the finest international performers. Expect jaw-dropping acts from Juan Anyosa, Korri Aulakh, Klodi Dabkiewicz, Bella Diosa, and Yann LeBlanc, who’ve all graced stages at Cirque du Soleil and other prestigious shows worldwide.

The lineup also includes gymnasts Shona Morgan and Josephine Urry, as well as a host of other incredible talents like Dean Murrell, Theddy Nardin, and Joel Roxendal.

COME ALIVE! is inspired by the hit film The Greatest Showman and will feature all the fan-favourite songs like This Is Me, Rewrite the Stars, and A Million Dreams.

Behind the scenes, the show boasts an impressive creative team. Drama Desk award-winning director Simon Hammerstein leads the project, with Olivier Award-nominated Matthew Brind handling the music. Choreographers Jerry Reeve and Lukas McFarlane, along with Emmy Award-nominated Lighting Designer Adam Bassett, are also on board.
