David Bowie musical Lazarus to stream online in January

David Bowie musical Lazarus will be made available to stream online in January 2021.

Inspired by the 1963 novel The Man Who Fell to Earth by Walter Tevis, Lazarus features music and lyrics from David Bowie and a book by Enda Walsh.

A recording of the London production starring Michael C Hall, Amy Lennox, Jamie Muscato, Sophie Ann Caruso and Michael Esper will be available tow watch online next month.

It will be streamed between 8 and 10 January, marking Bowie’s birthday and the fifth anniversary of his death.

Lazarus was one of the last works Bowie completed before his death. Directed by Ivo van Hove, the production premiered in New York in 2015 before moving to King’s Cross Theatre in 2016.
