Disney’s Aladdin announces open auditions for UK tour

Disney’s Aladdin has announced open auditions for its upcoming UK tour.

An adaption of the hit 1992 animated movie, the Disney stage musical will embark on its first ever tour from October 2023.

Fresh from the West End, the show will open in Edinburgh in October before of playing Cardiff’s Wales Millennium Centre over Christmas ahead of dates throughout 2024.

An open audition call from Jill Green Casting is inviting talent to apply for all roles

Based on the much-loved animated film, Disney’s Aladdin will be going on a UK Tour. Disney’s Aladdin tells the story of a street-smart commoner whose whole life changes with one rub of a magic lamp.

The stage musical production of Disney’s Aladdin is a spectacular adventure based on a tale that has been reimagined time and again across many cultures. We acknowledge the tremendous responsibility inherent in adapting this timeless fable that is based on narratives including countries and regions across the globe, from China to India, Europe and many more, and beloved from generation to generation.

Our adaptation is deeply indebted to the rich and diverse tapestry from Middle Eastern, North African, and South Asian (MENASA) cultures, language, and aesthetic traditions. We would like to hear from performers from the MENASA community, but we welcome people from any background to apply.

You can put yourself forward by uploading a video with callbacks taking place in person in London.
