Disney’s Hercules musical to open in London summer 2025

Disney’s animated classic Hercules is set to hit the stage in London’s West End!

Hercules will open in the summer of 2025 at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, currently home to Disney’s Frozen.

Specific dates and additional details will be announced soon.

Based on the beloved 1997 film, the show follows a young demigod who discovers his immense strength and power.

Fans can look forward to hearing iconic songs like Go the Distance, I Won’t Say (I’m In Love), and Zero to Hero.

This stage adaptation has been in the works for years, with previous versions staged at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park and the Paper Mill Playhouse.

Most recently, it had a run in Hamburg earlier this year.

The production boasts music and lyrics by Alan Menken and David Zippel, with a fresh book by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah.

Casey Nicholaw is on board for direction and choreography, alongside co-choreographer Tanisha Scott.
