Based on a true story, Newsies is set in New York City at the turn of the 20th century. It’s the rousing tale of a ragged band of teenage newspaper sellers, who dream of a better life far from the hardship of the streets.
Previously running on Broadway in 2012, a new London production opened at the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre on 8 December 2022. Directed and choreographed by Matt Cole, the cast is led by Michael Ahomka-Lindsay and Bronté Barbé.
