Elf The Musical sparkles at Dominion Theatre with star-studded cast
Here’s a first look at the return of Elf The Musical in London’s West End!
As the festive season approaches, London’s Dominion Theatre has welcomed back the enchanting and humorous Elf The Musical, which opened its doors on 15 November 2023 and celebrates its official opening night today.
The show, set to run until 6 January 2024, promises to be a delightful treat for audiences of all ages.
Featuring a star-studded cast, Elf sees Matthew Wolfenden stepping into the oversized shoes of Buddy, the lovable character at the heart of the story.
Georgina Castle lights up the stage as Jovie, while Tom Chambers takes on the role of Walter Hobbs. The cast also includes Rebecca Lock as Emily Hobbs, Kim Ismay as Debs, Nicholas Pound portraying Santa, and Dermot Canavan as the Store Manager.
Elf tells the heartwarming and hilarious story of Buddy, a human who, as a baby, mistakenly finds himself in Santa’s bag of gifts and is whisked away to the North Pole. Raised as an elf, Buddy eventually realizes his human origins due to his size and less-than-stellar toy-making skills. With a blessing from Santa, he sets off to New York City in search of his birth father, embarking on a journey of self-discovery and spreading Christmas cheer.
The musical, which brings to life the beloved holiday film, will captivate audiences with its blend of humour, warmth, and the magic of Christmas.
