Fatal Attraction tour cast announced with Kym Marsh, Oliver Farnworth & Susie Amy

Casting has been announced for the upcoming UK tour of Fatal Attraction.

Based on the classic movie of the same name, James Dearden’s intoxicating new stage adaption brings the definitive movie thriller to the UK stage.

A teaser shares: “When happily married New York attorney Dan Gallagher, meets charming editor Alex Forrest on a night out in the city, they both commit to a night of passion they can’t take back.

“Dan returns home to his family and tries to forget the mistake he has made, but Alex has different ideas. Dan’s about to discover that love is a dangerous game, and Alex has only one rule; you play fair with her, and she’ll play fair with you.

Coronation Street star Kym Marsh will play Alex Forrest on the tour with Oliver Farnworth (The Girl On The Train) as Dan Gallagher and Susie Amy (Footballers’ Wives) as his wife Beth.

Completing the cast are John Macaulay as Jimmy, Troy Glasgow as O’Rourke and Emma Laird Craig as understudy Beth / Alex.

Directed by Loveday Ingram, the stage adaption has set and costume design by Morgan Large, lighting design by Jack Knowles, sound design by Carolyn Downing, composition by Paul Englishby and casting by Anne Vosser.

Tour dates start in January in Brighton and continue throughout the Spring. Kym Marsh will be on the cast up to and including dates in Birmingham.

“Audiences today will no doubt respond differently to the ‘bunny boiler’ character Alex, made famous by Glen Close, and the debate it ignites today will be very different from 1988 as our awareness of mental health has progressed significantly.

“We have an exceptional cast, led by Kym Marsh, together with a first-class creative team, and set against the glamour and romance of Manhattan, the show promises to provide an evening of passion and debate.”
