Get a First Listen to Ariana Grande’s Popular

A first listen of Ariana Grande’s rendition of Popular from the highly anticipated Wicked movie has been revealed in a rather unlikely way.

Ariana Grande, known for her powerhouse vocals and chart-topping hits, takes on the bubbly and ambitious Glinda in the new film.

Accompanying the release of the movie will be a huge range of merch, including singing dolls from Barbie makers Mattel.

And it’s one of those dolls that’s allowed us a first listen to Ariana in the film.

An advert for the singing Glinda doll features Ariana singing the iconic song Popular.

Meanwhile the Elphaba doll sees Ariana’s co-star Cynthia Erivo take on Defying Gravity.

If you’ve been living under a rock, Wicked is the untold story of the witches of Oz before Dorothy dropped in.

The musical has been enchanting audiences since it premiered on Broadway in 2003, featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz.

The cast of the film also features Jeff Goldblum, Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeoh and Ethan Slater.
