Get a first listen to Carrie Hope Fletcher in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella
Andrew Lloyd Webber and Carrie Hope Fletcher have shared a first listen to his new Cinderella musical.
Teased as a new, modern spin on the all time classic fairytale, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella is set to premiere in the West End in 2021.
The brand new production will begin preview performances at London’s Gillian Lynne Theatre in March after being postponed from its original opening in October.
While theatres may have been shutdown for many months now, the Cinderella team have continued to work hard to ready the show for when venues reopen.
And this weekend they shared the first official audio of one song, ‘Bad Cinderella’, which you can listen to below.
The latest release follows a special music video featuring Andrew Lloyd Webber and Carrie Hope Fletcher performing another of the show’s new songs, Far Too Late.
The clip was filmed at an empty Her Majesty’s Theatre, home of the Phantom Of The Opera for 34 years pre-lockdown.
