Groundhog Day musical reviews
Reviews have dropped for the new production of Groundhog Day in London – what did the critics make of it?
The new production opened at the Old Vic this week, returning the venue where it first premiered in 2006.
Based on the 1990s movie of the same name, the musical follows cynical American TV weatherman who is sent to cover the annual Groundhog Day event in a small town only to find himself caught in a time loop.
The new production sees Andy Karl (Pretty Woman) reprise his leading role of Phil Connors while Matthew Warchus is back to direct.
