Grumpy Old Men musical cast recording released

Center Stage Records has announced the world premiere recording of Grumpy Old Men, the fresh musical from Dan Remmes, Neil Berg, and Nick Meglin.

The album showcases stellar performances by Ed Dixon, Mark Jacoby, Leslie Stevens, Sally Struthers, and Hal Linden. It’s available now at CenterStageRecords.com and on all digital platforms.

Grumpy Old Men tells the tale of Max (Ed Dixon) and John (Mark Jacoby), two neighbours who’ve spent a lifetime bickering. Their rivalry escalates when they both fall for their new neighbour, the enchanting Ariel (Leslie Stevens).

Based on the 1993 film featuring Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau, and Ann-Margret, this musical captures the heart and humour of small-town life through engaging songs and endearing characters.

The book is by Dan Remmes, music by Neil Berg, and lyrics by Nick Meglin, adapted from the Warner Bros. film written by Mark Steven Johnson.

The recording stars Ed Dixon, Mark Jacoby, Leslie Stevens, and also features the talents of Sally Struthers and Hal Linden. The cast is rounded out by Brenda Braxton, Doug Eskew, Kevin Massey, Laura Woyasz, John Battagliese, Blake Hammond, Eric Jon Mahlum, Kelly Methven, James Taylor Odom, Heather Jane Rolff, Brooke Singer, and Christina Tompkins.
