There’s rumours that hit BBC comedy Ghosts could be heading for the stage.

The hit TV show concluded in 2023 after five series.

But it turns out that the spooky gang may not be done with us yet!

Martha Howe-Douglas, who charmed us as Lady Button in the BBC One show, has hinted at more to come.

“There are other projects related to Ghosts in the offing, but I can’t talk about them yet. I certainly want to do more, in whatever form it takes,” Martha teased.

As for what’s in store, rumour has it a stage adaption could be in consideration, alongside a film or a one-off Christmas return.

Ghosts would be far from the first BBC sitcom to hit the stage.

David Mitchell previously brought his comedy Upstart Crow to the West End in 2019.

And Inside No. 9 will make the leap from screen next year in a new play by Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith.

Whatever it is, we can’t wait to see the next chapter for our favourite haunted mansion.
