Jodie Steele to star in concert performance of Gatsby musical

Jodie Steele will star as Daisy Buchanan in a concert performance of Gatsby The Musical.

This musical adaptation of F Scott Fitzgerald’s novel The Great Gatsby will play on August 28 and 29 at Live At Zédel at Crazy Coqs in London.

A teaser reads: “Daisy Buchanan becomes the centre of the story. Seeing the tragic events unfold through her eyes, we are given a fresh perspective of F Scott Fitzgerald’s iconic Jazz Age novel.

“Revelling in the glitz and glamour, we also get a glimpse of the sadness and secrets that ripple beneath the surface; as we follow Daisy’s quest to discover what happened to Jay Gatsby.”

Jodie Steele (Heathers, Wicked, Rock of Ages) will lead the cast as Daisy Buchanan with further casting to be announced.

The musical adaption features a book by Linnie Reedman with music and lyrics by Joe Evans.
