Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat concert to be streamed for charity

A concert version of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is to be streamed for charity.

The special performance, to stream on July 10, will be broadcast online amid the ongoing theatre shutdown.

With permission from the Really Useful Group and Universal, the all star cast will include Ria Jones, Maria Friedman, Darren Day, Jaymi Hensley, Anthony Stuart Lloyd, Bradley Judge, Craig Nash, Marlon Moore, Andrew Geater, Mike Holoway, Jenna Lee-James, Zoë Tyler, Samantha Noel, Anna Campkin, Amanda Claire-Jones and more.

Making up the creative team are Jordan Doolan, Laura-Duthie Coupar, Hayley Bordiak, Matt Langley, Robbie Davies, Adam Lacey and Nigel Wright.

An announcement reads: “This is a very unique, different concept which is a one off and probably will never happen again. All cast will record their parts from their own homes and we will put it all together in one long video for you all to enjoy from the comfort of your own homes.

“Sing along, watch and enjoy those classic songs such as Any Dream will do, Jacob and sons., close every door & Pharaohs story.

A release date for the concert has now been confirmed for July 10 at 6:30PM.
