New Phantom of the Opera recording released with Killian Donnelly and Lucy St. Louis
A brand new recording from The Phantom of the Opera in the West End has been released!
The new single features Killian Donnelly as the Phantom and Lucy St. Louis as Christine Daae performing the musical’s title song.
It’s the first new recording of the song from the show in 18 years.
Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber said on social media of the release: “It’s absolutely fantastic for me because we’ve redone the whole arrangement. It’s now much more rock and roll like I’ve always intended it to be. Go have a listen and say what you think.”

This release comes as The Phantom of the Opera is set to be part of the BBC’s Platinum Party at the Palace celebrations on Saturday, 4 June.
Joining Donnelly and Louis on the current West End cast are Rhys Whitfield as Raoul, Saori Oda as Carlotta Giudicelli, Matt Harrop as Monsieur Firmin, Adam Linstead as Monsieur André, Greg Castiglioni as Ubaldo Piangi, Francesca Ellis as Madame Giry, and Ellie Young as Meg Giry.
Playing in the West End since 1986, The Phantom Of The Opera is based on the French novel of the same name by Gaston Leroux.
It tells the story of soprano singer Christine Daaé who becomes the obsession of a masked musical genius who resides beneath a Paris opera house.
The musical features music by Lloyd Webber, Lyrics by Charles Hart, and Additional Lyrics by Richard Stilgoe with a Book by Richard Stilgoe and Lloyd Webber and Orchestrations by David Cullen and Lloyd Webber.

The show is playing Her Majesty’s Theatre with tickets currently booking to October 2022.
The standard performance schedule is Monday to Saturday at 7:30PM with Saturday matinees at 2:30PM.
