PHOTOS! First look at & Juliet’s UK and Ireland tour

It’s time to break free from the balcony scene! The highly anticipated UK & Ireland tour of hit musical & Juliet has officially begun, with its grand opening at the Manchester Opera House.

The cast is nothing short of stellar. Matt Cardle steps into the role of Shakespeare, while Gerardine Sacdalan takes the stage as Juliet.

Joining them are Lara Denning as Anne, Sandra Marvin as Angelique, Jordan Broatch as May, Kyle Cox as Francois, Jack Danson as Romeo, and Dr Ranj Singh as Lance.

But that’s not all.

The ensemble is packed with talent, featuring Michael Nelson as Henry, Liam Morris as Richard, Rosie Singha as Judith, and Nia Stephen as Imogen.

Psalms-Nissi Myers-Reid shines as Lucy/Alternate Juliet, with Andilé Mabhena, Harriet Caplan-Dean, Alexander Kranz, Aaron Shales, Toni Paise, and Samuel Wilson-Freeman completing the dynamic cast.

So, what makes & Juliet a must-see?

Imagine Juliet rewriting her story and choosing her own path. This fresh take on the classic Shakespearean tale is penned by David West Read, the Emmy-winning writer from Schitt’s Creek.

With his unique twist, the musical explores what happens when Juliet decides to live her life to the fullest, leaving behind the tragedy of Romeo.

The production is brought to life with a playlist of pop anthems as iconic as Juliet herself.

From Britney Spears’ …Baby One More Time and Katy Perry’s Roar to chart-toppers like Since U Been Gone, It’s My Life, I Want It That Way, and Can’t Stop the Feeling!, the music is a powerhouse collection curated by Max Martin, the legendary songwriter/producer.

This romantic comedy promises laughter, love, and a fresh perspective on a timeless story.

Don’t miss your chance to experience the magic of & Juliet on its UK & Ireland tour.

The only thing tragic would be missing it.
