Prima Facie reviews – what did the critics make of Jodie Comer in West End show?
Prima Facie West End reviews roundupReviews have dropped for Prima Facie with Jodie Comer in London – what did the critics make of it?
Free Guy and Killing Eve star Comer appears in the one-woman-play as lawyer Tessa.
The piece by Suzie Miller opened at the Harold Pinter Theatre on 15 April 2022.
Directed by Justin Martin, the production has set and costume design by Miriam Buether and lighting design by Natasha Chivers. Rebecca Lucy Taylor – the Brit Award nominated star of Self Esteem – will compose music with sound designers Max and Ben Ringham, video by Treatment Studio and voice coach Zabarjad Salam.
Tessa is a thoroughbred. A young, brilliant barrister. She has worked her way up from working class origins to be at the top of her game; prosecuting; cross examining and winning. An unexpected event forces her to confront the lines where the patriarchal power of the law, burden of proof and morals diverge.
