RuneScape musical RuneSical to be released to watch online

RuneSical, the musical comedy based on the video game RuneScape, is to be released online on YouTube.

Gigglemug Theatre’s show will be made available to watch online later this month (September) as a ‘choose your own adventure’ comedy musical experience.

Sword equipped. Potions ready. High-speed internet connected. Based on the hugely popular online game RuneScape, join Lance_054 (the first 53 were taken) on an interactive quest where YOU decide what happens next!

The show was filmed live in Cambridge (where RuneScape was born!) at The Town & Gown Theatre

RuneSical is written and directed by Sam Cochrane & Alex Prescot with musical direction by Amy Hsu

Making up the cast are Christian Maynard (Lance), Katie Pritchard (Odin), Jenna Sian O’Hara (Pearl), Sam Cochrane (The Wizard), Alex Prescot (Player 1), Theo Diedrick (Player 2) & Lydia Barton Lovett (Player 3).

RuneSical is the latest musical to head online from the award-winning Gigglemug Theatre, keen to make their work as accessible as possible, following their hit debut show Timpson: The Musical.
