Wolverhampton Grand Theatre has announced Snow White as its 2023 panto.

The venue has confirmed the first details of its next festive show, which will run Saturday 2 December 2023 – Sunday 7 January 2024.

CBeebies presenter Evie Pickerill will play the title role of Snow White while pantomime pair Tam Ryan and Ian Adams will return for their third consecutive year together, reprising their roles as comic and dame in the production.

Joining them will be Eternal, Loose Women and Hollyoaks’ Kelle Bryan as the Good Fairy Elementa, CBeebies’ Gyasi Sheppy as Prince William of Wolverhampton and X Factor and Blood Brothers’ Niki Colwell Evans as Queen Dragonella.

Joining them are ensemble: Elliott Baker-Costello, Charlie Donnelly, Lucy Nolan, Elise Prosser, Jack Skelton, Ollie Thomas-Smith, Daniel Walford and Leonie Wall.

Join us as we look in the mirror, defeat the Evil Queen and follow Snow White & the prince on their journey to find true love’s kiss in this ultimate fairy-tale family adventure.

Take a bite of panto delight with brand-new spectacular scenery and costumes, magical special effects, wicked humour, the biggest band in panto land and plenty of audience participation! SNOW WHITE promises to be a festive spectacular for all ages.

The production has set and costume design by David Sheilds with musical direction by Adrian Jackson, direction by David Janson and choreography by Natalie Bennyworth. It is written by Ian Adams and Tam Ryan.

Chief Executive and Artistic Director of Wolverhampton Grand, Adrian Jackson said; “Snow White promises to be our most exciting pantomime yet. We are busy preparing many surprises that have never before been seen in a Wolverhampton pantomime and together Tam Ryan and Ian Adams are already working on a fabulously funny script.

“We are commissioning brand new sets and costumes to create a lavish family pantomime that will be the unmissable festive event this Christmas!”
