Squad Goals: Cast announced for new immersive show at Dagenham & Redbridge FC Stadium

The cast has been announced for a new immersive production at Dagenham & Redbridge FC Stadium.

Squad Goals by Michelle Payne will play at the football venue from September 14 to October 10.

A teaser for the show shares: “Everyone has football fever, but not in the usual way. England’s Lionesses are tearing up the pitch and making a real name for the female game. Lexi, who never had the opportunity to be taken seriously, inspires a group of school leavers to redefine the game in her home town of Dagenham.”

Roles will be double cast with four swings in order to protect the production amid the ongoing pandemic.

Making up the cast are Annie Southall (The Boyfriend, Mamma Mia), Jade Marvin (SIX), Lucy Aiston (SIX), Ellie Seaton (The Wedding Singer), Jamie Corner (The Band), Bessy Ewa (Hello, Dolly!), Charlotte Payne (The Pirate Queen), Holly Liburd (The Bodyguard), Jasmine Davis (Sammy, The Musical), Kia Brame (Stripy Honey is Very Yummy) and Alice Gruden (Candide).

They’re joined by Hannah Khalique Brown, Ashley Runeckles, Annie Service, Morag Davies, Holly Richard Smith, Yasmine Gazzal, Tianna Sealy-Jewiss, Joe Thompson-Oubari, Giorgia Falcioni, Victoria Louise, Pippa Conway, Leonie Wall and Oliver Bower.
