Sasha Regan’s The Pirates of Penzance to stream online – get tickets!

The Pirates of Penzance’s recent London West End production is to stream online.

Sasha Regan’s all male take on W. S Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan’s classic will be available to watch after being recorded live at the Palace Theatre.

The show will stream from Monday, 29 March through to Monday 5 April with tickets available online here from stream.theatre.

The Pirates of Penzance cast

The cast will feature Marc Akinfolarin (Sergeant of Police), Michael Burgen (Samuel), James Chidzey (Ensemble), Leon Craig (Ruth), Tom Duern (Ensemble), Joel Elferink, Matthew Facchino (Ensemble), Lee Greenaway (Connie), Dominic Harbison (Isabel), Sam Kipling (Edith), David McKechnie (Major General), Daniel Miles (Ensemble), Alan Richardson (Mabel), Richard Russell Edwards (Isabel), Oliver Savile (Pirate King), Tom Senior (Frederic) and Benjamin Vivian-Jones (Ensemble).

Alongside director Sasha Regan, the creative team is made up of choreographer Lizzi Gee, designer Robyn Wilson-Owen, musical directier by Richard Baker, associate choreographer Lee Greenaway, lighting designer Ben Bull and casting by Adam Braham. Regan De Wynter is the producer.

Sasha Regan’s award-winning All-male Company are set to lift everyone’s spirits with a pre-Christmas treat in their new West End pirate’s cove. The swashbuckling pirates and their winsome lasses sail into the Palace Theatre with their inventive new take on W. S. Gilbert & Arthur Sullivan’s classic operetta THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE. Featuring a dazzling cast singing songs including: “I am a Pirate King”; “Oh, happy day, with joyous glee” and “A rollicking band of pirates we”, they are sure to raise the roof off the Palace Theatre!

Expect plenty of japes from the crew who are braving the high seas with rum and hand-sanitisers to bring you a socially distanced Covid-secure show. A joyous and much needed escape for families and friends.
