The Secret Garden concerts to star Lucie Jones, Ramin Karimloo and Jac Yarrow

The Secret Garden musical will play two concert performances at The London Palladium.

Lucie Jones, Ramin Karimloo and Jac Yarrow will star in the shows on Saturday, April 4 2020 with tickets on sale now here.

Leading the cast are Lucie Jones (Waitress) as Martha, Ramin Karimloo (Phantom of the Opera) as Archibald and Jac Yarrow (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat) as Dickon with further casting to be confirmed.

Presented by Lambert Jackson, the concert production will be directed by Nick Winston (Cats, Mame, Guys and Dolls).

Lambert Jackson’s CEO Jamie Lambert and creative director Eliza Jackson said: “The Secret Garden is one of the most wonderful pieces of storytelling, and we feel so lucky to be able to present this stunning musical adaptation in a concert setting.

“With book by the exceptional Marsha Norman, stunning music by the beautiful Lucy Simon (who we worked with on our recent concert production of Doctor Zhivago) together with this all-star cast, this is going to be a truly extraordinary theatre experience.”

Based on the much-loved literary classic by Frances Hodgson Burnett a synopsis of the re-imagined heart-warming story teases:

Young, orphaned Mary Lennox arrives at her uncle’s secluded country home to find a reclusive, long-suffering collection of souls — and the mysterious tale of a secret garden.

Together with new-found friends, Mary breathes life into the secret garden. She blossoms too, and through her adventures, tends to all the hearts around her.
