The Watermill Theatre’s The Jungle Book to stream online on demand

The Watermill Theatre has announced its Christmas production of The Jungle Book will stream online on demand.

The show is currently playing to in-person audiences at the Newbury venue through to 31 December.

A digital production, filmed live at The Watermill Theatre by The Umbrella Rooms last month, is now available to watch at home from 16 December to 28 December.

Tickets, priced at £15 or £25 for a rental period of 3 or 7 days, are on sale here. Audio described and captioned versions are also available.

The new musical version of Rudyard Kipling’s classic tale is adapted, directed and choreographed by Tom Jackson Greaves with Sanah Ahsan as Poet and Lyricist, Annie Southall as Assistant Director, Priya Patel Appleby as Dramaturg, and Composition by Dom Coyote.

The cast features Peter Ashmore as ‘Shere Khan’ alongside Alexander Bean as ‘Kaa / Councilor Wolf’, Philippa Hogg as ‘Bagheera’, Guido Garcia Lueches as ‘Tabaqui’, Rowena Lennon as ‘Baloo’, and Karishma Young as ‘Mowgli’.
