Watch Bring It On UK tour cast begin rehearsals in lockdown
The cast of Bring It On The Musical’s upcoming tour have started rehearsals while in lockdown.
The hit musical will be touring the UK and Ireland for the very first time this summer.
This week saw the cast kick off rehearsals and they’re not letting the lockdown get in the way.
The company has been working hard in isolation, sharing a video online as they rehearse Fabian Aloise’s choreography to the song Do Your Own Thing.
Inspired by the film of the same name, Bring It On The Musical follows cheer-royalty and newly crowned Squad Captain, Campbell. When she is forced to move to the neighbouring hard-knock Jackson High, Campbell fears her life is over but an unlikely friendship catapults Campbell back into contention with a powerhouse squad and the fire to achieve the impossible.
The musical features a book by Jeff Whitty with music by To Kitt and Lin-Manuel Miranda and lyrics by Miranda and Amanda Green.
Louis Smith and Amber Davies will lead the cast, taking on the roles of Cameron and Campbell respectively.
