Watch Courtney Bowman and Matt Willis sing Kinky Boots songs at West End Live

A first look at the upcoming Kinky Boots concert production was shared at West End Live this weekend.

West End Live was back on Saturday and Sunday night for a host of performances from West End shows.

One of the shows taking to the stage was Kinky Boots which returns to London for a special concert in August.

Performing at West End Live, Courtney Bowman performed History Of Wrong Guys while Matt Willis performed Step One.

Set between Northampton and London, Kinky Boots tells the story of Charlie Price who finds inspiration from drag queen Lola to save his late father’s show business.

The new concert production of Kinky Boots will play for one-night-only on 8 August.

Cedric Neal (Back To The Future, Motown) will star as Lola/Simon, Matt Willis (Waitress, Wicked) will play Charlie and Courtney Bowman (Six) will play Lauren.

They will be joined by the London Musical Theatre Orchestra to perform the score, written by Cyndi Lauper.

More shows appearing on West End Live 2022 this year include Mamma Mia, Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World The Musical, Back To The Future The Musical, Wicked, Moulin Rouge, Disney’s Frozen, Mary Poppins, The Great Gatsby, Jersey Boys, Legally Blonde The Musical, The Phantom Of The Opera, Get Up and !My Fair Lady.
