With the West End closed, Andrew Lloyd Webber launched a new online series called The Shows Must Go On making a selection of his works available to watch online for free for limited periods.
First up was Joseph which was available to watch online for free for 48 hours at the start of April.
An adaptation of the hit Lloyd-Webber stage musical based on the Old Testament story of Joseph (Donny Osmond) the youngest son of Jacob (Richard Attenborough) tells of his betrayal by his jealous brothers and of his being sold into slavery.
Meanwhile, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be returning to the West End this summer.
Jac Yarrow and Jason Donovan will return to the London Palladium in 2020 after a hit season last year.
Performances will begin on Thursday 2 July 2020, playing a strictly limited 10-week season through until Sunday 6 September 2020.
Following his acclaimed appearance in the 2019 production, 21-year-old Jac Yarrow will return to the title role with Jason Donovan as the Pharaoh.
Further casting for this year’s run is to be announced in due course.
