West End star Lauren Drew took The Voice UK stage by storm on ITV tonight.

The new series of The Voice UK welcomes Olly Murs, Sir Tom Jones and Will.i.am back to the spinning red chairs with new coach Anne-Marie.

The weekend saw the blind auditions continue for the brand new season.

One of the acts winning a spot in the next round was Lauren Drew, star of Six The Musical, Heathers and Kinky Boots.

She performed Jessie J’s Mamma Knows Best and joined Team Anne-Marie after getting all four coaches to turn for her.

Hosted by Emma Willis, The Voice UK is open to soloist, duos and trios wanting to impress the coaches.

For the winner is the top prize of a recording contract.

The public will vote for the winner of The Voice in a final later this year.

The Voice UK 2021 is broadcast Saturday evenings on ITV.
