Tucker succeeded Becky Gulsvig on Broadway in the roles of Beverley, Annette, and others after departing the London production on February 8.
The actress – who was nominated for an Olivier Award last year for her role in the show in the West End – was last seen on Broadway as Elphaba in Wicked, a role she also played in the West End production.
A new cast for Come From Away in London was previously announced, with Tucker’s fellow Wicked alum Alice Fearn taking over the role of Beverley/Annette and others.
Also joining the show will be Tarinn Callender (Bob and others), James Doherty (Claude and others), Alice Fearn (Beverley/Annette and others) Kate Graham (Diane and others), Alasdair Harvey (Nick/Doug and others), Ricardo Castro, Stuart Hickey, Sorelle Marsh, Micha Richardson and Matthew Whennell-Clark.
The new cast are currently performing at the Phoenix Theatre in London.
Come From Away shares the touching real-life story of the 7,000 air passengers from all over the world who were grounded in Canada during the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks, and the small Newfoundland community that invited these ‘come from aways’ into their lives.
With a score and book written by Irene Sankoff and David Hein, Come From Away proved a huge hit on Broadway before transferring to the West End at the start of 2019.
